We place numerous calls (unplugging router DOES NOTHING) and often get the response 'our service tech will have to call you back'. Or they claim 'things look good on my end from what I can see'. Do a speed test and see it just break 1.2 if VERY frustrating.
They don't like it when you ask them to stop throttling you. They say they don't do it, but they must.
We aren't downloading or pirating files either.
Yes, I was disappointed to hear the announcement. They need to rectify and take care of current customers.
If you are paying for a service you should be able to access it. I pay the hydro, satellite bill . . . they don't lower, limit use or throttle me!
Disappointing to be locked in and have no other options.
