Can someone help me with my pool? We have been to a few places and got some advice and have tried many different chemicals. But still remain to have problems. I'm hesitant to go back in bc I have a feeling they r just getting me to buy more chemicals from them. Last time this year we had perfect pool water. We just can't seem to get it right this year and feel we have tried everything and spent so much money trying to get it right. He is the problem. It's constantly cloudy we have even drained it and refilled it again with no luck. Used every kind of chemical and still nothing. If anyone has any advice please let me know!!

Did you scrub the walls and floor an rinse when you drained the pool?  
 
Could be the cloudy residue remains between fresh water!  
 
Maybe you need to hire a pool water service to fill the pool, maybe the cloudy residue is coming from the hose.

Yes got in and scrubbed good cleaner has been in it constantly. Can't see it being a water from the hose issue as we have always used it and no problems with that

Have you checked the PH levels. We had this problem a couple years ago and it turned out our PH was a bit low.

We had this issue last year. Replaced the sand and it's great now

possible causes:  
-low chlorine  
-algae present  
-High Combined Chlorine  
-tear/rip/hole in filter element  
-broken filter  
-undersized filter  
-High PH, total alkalinity or calcium hardness  
-pump & filter not operating long enough.  
 
You can also use a clarifier to clear the water.  
Get a good test kit, our kit was $500.00.  
Rule out what does not apply.  
I get a water test from Krevco once a month.  
I have a commercial inground concrete pool with a sand filter, the pump runs 24 hours, 7 days/week, 3 months.  
I get an inspection from the Health inspector.

Wouldn't get them to test my toilet water, let alone my pool water ever again.

It needs to be removed, vacuumed out and replaced. Might be easier for someone professional to do. Don't think it cost us all that much. Pool Doctor is my suggestion...

We have to drag it out of a room to dump it on a patio, flip it on it's side. Drain it of water first.  
Be careful of the tubing inside, it does come apart to clean it.  
When filling it with silica sand, don't get any sand down the tubing.  
Find the best Price to buy silica sand.  
Our filter takes 6 bags.  
Good idea to where a mask when refilling the filter.  
 
We change the sand out every 2-3 years, I can tell after start up in the spring that the sand needs to be changed.  
 
Where would the best place be to take my next sample ? The pool doctor ?

Isn't there a cleaner out there for the sand? Seems to me we have tried that too.  

Can u buy the sand? We took a sample to creasys recommend them. I would never use the pool doctor again! HORRIBLE experience with him. Krevco was horrible customer service too. Too bad there isn't many good places in town. Also looking for a pool cover if anyone has suggestions for that most places in town don't carry 30 foot ones?

Our pool is 20x50, we bought one from Krevco  
that was 26x50 and just cut it down.  
The sand we picked up from Krevco.  
I have had no issues with Krevco (yet).

Cheapest is Northwest Wholesalers in Winnipeg. They had ours in stock and it was a 30x20 (I think). So that meant no waiting just an afternoon drive.

When I had problems with the pool, google was my friend.  
Never been to the Pool Doctor or Creasy's.  
Find a good test kit, go where they can answer your questions.  

Would I get a good test kit? I just use the strips
