Runny eyes in dogs

I just recently noticed my one dog as a runny eye. I am kinda thinking it's from the smoke in the air from the forest fires in Saskatchewan... Her one eye has been runny for a couple days now... I have another dog that doesn't have this issue... Anyone out there have this issue with there dogs and/or cats?

My dog has had it before, or she gets "crusties" in the corners of her eyes. I just take a damp cloth and wipe them for her and it usually doesn't last.

Our dog too, this past week or so off and on both her eyes seem to be running, and our other 2 r fine. I figured from the smoke as well

Just like our are sensitive to smoke and other air pollution.
Take a wet rag and wipe off the eye crud.
Do it on a regular basis.
A build up of crud can lead to tear duct blockages, and more serious infections.

I have a pug, and she constantly has "eye goobers", that's just her breed. But it could very well be from the smoke and crud in the air. I would say as long as their eyes don't look sore, or the stuff isn't a funky color, it's probably just an allergy or something of the sort. Like others said, damp cloth to wipe it away and maybe just keep an eye out to make sure it doesn't get infected or anything

has issues with one eye being runny due to a blocked tear duct. It has been a little worse since the smoke. Surprisingly his worst trigger for his eye is stress though.
