iMessage text message issues

Anyone else annoyed with iMessages sent as text messages or not sending at all. What is going on? Seems this has been happening for the past four weeks or more. Also love that we pay premium prices for these services that work whenever!!

Called MTS several times. Called apple several times. Both blame each other. MTS says turn iMessage off. Frustrating. It's company wide for all our phones.

I as well am having the same issues. It is so frustrating. I have called mts. I have gone to ccp and asked them. Actually showed them what it is doing. They say call apple that nothing is wrong. Call apple again they say nothing is wrong. Clearly there are issues and it is very maddening. So it is a relief to know I'm not alone. Is everyone having issues using an iPhone and are you with mts?

MTS always tries to avoid taking responsibility for the problems that occur in their system, unfortunatly they do have the best cel coverage so many have to keep using them.

All our company iPhones aren't working using iMessage. We have a bunch of phones. 4s to 6. All up to date. All MTS. Doesn't matter if on wifi or 3G or LTE.

It is really annoying! Glad I don't text too much, but sucks not knowing if your texts are actually going through.

iMessage uses data. Try sending while on WiFi and see if the problem goes away.

Glad to hear it isn't just my iPhone. Mine is a 4s and sometimes my messages go thru fine and other times not. Very annoying.

Had two side by side. Both on wifi. Take forever to send. Tried different wifi connections. No difference. Very frustrating.

Data. But downloading works great. Fantastic speeds. So I wonder why iMessage has an issue when data is great. Makes no sense.

I have Rogers, but when I try to iMessage most MTS users, it doesn't work. I need to send as a text. It is sporadic, but lately doesn't work more often than it does. Btw, I only use wi-fi.

Been having the same trouble for the past couple weeks too. So annoying when they don't go thru at all.

Same issues here, what's frustrates me even more is that sometimes they'll come through on my iPad, but not my phone. So annoying!

When I called apple they said "first I've heard about this problem"
So maybe if more people call they might look into it. But it's doubtful.

They said to turn iMessage off. I have tried that. It's better but some texts are still slow to receive. None of the phones are any where near data cap either. The problem is that you will have 4 iMessages work and then all of a sudden they stop going thru and you wait for them to as a text. I'll call apple again today.

MTS wants you to log when the iMessage doesn't work. Date time. Which I don't have time for. I just tell them it works 15% of the time at best.

I have Rogers and have zero issues with my iMessage. But any of my friends on mts, they mainly send or receive as text lately. I hate seeing those green bubbles lol

Doesn't sound like an MTS issue to me if people are using WiFi and still having problems.

Had a tiny issue a couple weeks ago on an iPhone 6. It lasted half a day and that was it. Most of my circle have switched to Rogers now too so I don't know if the texting between Rogers and Mts is an issue as well. I find there are soooo many people texting now that it's a miracle that there aren't more issues with cell phones!

It's only an issue for me when I don't have good cell service (Iphone 6); good service and Imessage works fine otherwise it tries to send it as a text message. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Does anyone else have an issue that when they make a phone call, if it doesn't get dropped, your phone goes to 3G for a few minutes after and is basically a brick and can't do anything? Happens to me every phone call.
