We have travelled coast to coast in the last few years and we prefer KOA's. My kids loved them as well. Always lots to do and still cheaper than a hotel room!
I would grab a Saskatchewan Tourist Guide at the info booth and see what small towns have to offer along the way and make my decision from that!
