Are there still lots of people who go to yard sales this late in the year?  
When is the best day for a yard sale? Friday/Saturday/Sunday.  
What is the best time to hold sales?  

It is a great time of the year because people are getting ready to send their kids off to school and need household items. Saturdays are the best as far as past success at mine. 9-2 (ish) is when I have had mine.

We found out the the sales we had Thursday night and Friday worked very well for us

Saturday's use to be the best but I think Thursday's and Fridays are better now so people still have the week end to do things

I visit all yard sales Thursday day and evening. Also Friday until about 5 or 6.  
 
I of course do town wide and even street wide sales on Saturday's.  
 
It is really nice to see a list of the categories you will have in your sale such as household, camping, tools, scrapbooking, baby girl clothes up to size x, baby boy clothes size 2 to x, toys etc.  
 
I get disappoint when I go to a sale listed as "something for everyone" and there are no toys for clothes for my grand babies.
