I have not seen or heard anything in the news yet, but about 7:15am I passed what looked like a pedestrian lying on the road on Princess and 10th, covered by a blanket. Lots of helpers on the scene, police were just getting there and ambulance was on the way.  
 
Worried about the person - I could not tell how serious it was, just that there was a big mess of debris so I was uncertain if someone had been hit, or a homeless person was in trouble or what the case was.  
 
I just hope this person is alright, and kudos to all the people who had gathered to help.  
 

She was awake and talking, as for injuries, not sure. She had been carrying a bag of snacky type food, which is what you would have seen on the road (fruit tray, crackers, etc.) Just as a side note, I would say it was closer to 8:15 that it occurred. Driver remained on scene.
