Usually shoot for the closest weekend to the start of December that we can get... so likely next weekend. We use an artificial but noticed on their website that Patmore has their trees in... please post if you know of other places and their availability.

There are lots of places selling, super store has theirs now and so does that place by Dairy Queen. I would recommend waiting until the middle of December before putting it up so that there isn't a lot of shedding. Remember to water it as well to help the tree stay fresh longer.

We usually buy one the first or second weekend of December otherwise it will be shedding too much by Christmas. This year will do the weekend of 11th-13th. Always cut off a few inches as soon as you bring it home (or sometimes where you buy will do it for you). Don't forget to water it, usually twice a day for the first week then it will suck up less water and only need once per day.  
 
Lots of places sell them: Home Depot, Superstore, DQ, all the nurseries etc. We've bought from Superstore the past few years and have had great trees.
