We live in the Waverly area. The power has been flickering for the last three hours has anyone else noticed this?

Driving home we saw a huge flash all over almost like lightning and then. Lamp went out and back on. On the 270

Has been occurring a few times per hour, for the past few hours that I've noticed.... but not long enough to reset my alarm clock. Wonder what gives.

Glad it's nothing to do with our house wiring.

Streaches all the way south to at least Nesbitt as well :s

It's happened a couple of times downtown as well.

If the flash of light could have been a meteor? The Geminids Meteor Shower doesn't peak until the 14th and 15th, but there will be a few between now and then.  
There was one that streaked across the sky over the west coast on Friday. I had also seen one Friday night to the south, can't remember what time tho.

happened in Alexander, MB. Dec 4th, 5th, 6th too.

hydro flickering has been occurring here in the east end close to Douglas St and Rosser today and last night too. Some close and some far apart time wise.

Started last night and and has happened a few times today as well

I was on hold with Hydro for an hour and gave up when trying to report the flickering this morning. My freezer really really hates when the power goes off for short periods. All my other stuff is on UPS, so we can ride it out.

I thought my age was making my eyes play tricks on me.  
 
The lights were flickering at The40 last night and at home.... I am SO relieved, lol.

We live out by Minto and our power went out at 8:30 this morning.. Just as I was cooking of course. Lol. When I called it said there was thousands without power in that area and they had lost two major lines. It was back on in under two hours. Impressive for a Sunday morning!! Thank you hydro! House didn't even get cold!

Still going on at my place in Alexander.And its enough of a power disruption that various electronics are resetting etc.

Still happening in the east end of Brandon. Just quick flickers not enough to cause any resets.

worked tonight at the Trails West, and it's flickering here too. I also thought it was just from being tired. but nope, it's flickering.

Just wondering, if these flash overs are being cause by faulty insulators, because if the story is that it's a result of frost and damp conditions what are things going to be like if we do get something like freezing rain, also wondering why we didn't have this problem when we had the damp spell back in the fall.  
 
We had a few flickers last night, and one this morning, but nothing serious enough to reset anything.
