Did anyone see a bright white flash of light in Brandon around 4:20AM Tuesday morning? It appeared to be near the east end?

Yes....was working in a building on pacific and a bright white flash came through window but no idea what it was

Had something to do with Manitoba Hydro. Seemed to be in that direction.

the first one from the Rivers turn off on #10. It looks pretty spectacular.

Yes I saw two, one was first around Kemnay the second was on the east end of town toward the Brandon hills area. They looked like blue flashes to me.

I saw one this morning, I was coming in to Brandon from #10 south, and was south of the Lake Clemente hill, the whole sky lit up, about 7 - 7:10 am

Seems to be related to the Hydro problem we are all having with the surges. Before I go ahead and call, has anyone else called Hydro yet?

I saw 2 this morning. First around 6:40 and again around 7:05. First one I was on the #1 by Carberry and the second time I was almost to Brandon. Seems you could see them for a long distance!

At 6:59 this morning, and our acreage has been having several surges for the least two days..I hope this clears up shortly, or at the very least we receive some clarity on the situation, as I am not looking forward to any electrical component damages if this keeps up. Sigh. Guess I will have to call Hydro and talk to a human being, lol...

A Hydro spokesman claims fog is the cause. Here's hoping there isn't an accompanying wind of hot air.

Yes I seen a flash around 5pm monday night also in the east end.

the the one in the eastend on Monday. Was just stepping out of work at the Landfill when I saw the bright white light, then sparks and also heard the sound. It looked to come from the substation at Koch.

We saw a flash out by Wheatland @ about 6 on Wednesday evening and seemingly to the south. There was no fog in any direction and only high level cloud which was south of the Assiniboine Valley.

It sure is a strange thing to see.
