looking at lots etc out in chater and gave heard there is a slough and a nasty smell in the spring/summer?! I guess many of the houses are built on a slough. wondering if anyone who lives out there could shine some light on this or if anyone has heard anything about the smell or any other problems with water etc thanks !!

There are sewage lagoons just south of there. That's the likely culprit.

The smells are only a problem out here a few days of the year when we have a south west wind. Other than that it's all good. I would not call it a slough but there is a high water table in the area so a bi level or raised bungalow would be a good idea. Pm me if you want to know more.
