I agree. Not a dint. Then I ask just whose land would have to be expropriated? Someone today own it. I do think though that CN is pushing their luck.
Shunting 24/7 is ok as it is a rail yard. Slow trains yep ok. We need to ignore the delays recently because of track up grades.
Having said all that in no way shape or form should in town roadways be blocked 15 or 20 minutes other than something broke.
In CN's case these new monster trains can cut the city in half from 1st to 34th. It is not the time of day we can bring to task. It is how long the traffic that also may include first responders have to wait.
