Why don't you just go to the police?
Afterall, going to MPI and will show that it was a hit and run.
Not sure what your point is coming on here and sharing it with everyone.

Thread is titled with "super bump". Might be relatively superficial, but i'm not certain that the OP would have any desire to actually talk to the person if there wasn't something damaged.
Getty, I think this is where we in society often go wrong and it ends up costing our public services far more resources to get involved in superficial matters. People often conflate the superficial into major issues through police reports when a simple discussion might resolve the matter. I believe that is why the OP is attempting to contact the offender in this matter. The offender might be ignorant of the damages but technically, leaving the scene of an accident can be a criminal charge. We know how the law views ignorance. Could be the OP doesn't want to see someone dealing with that over Christmas Eve.
Also not sure how MPI will handle this. People often are forced to share liability when involved in collisions that take place within a parking lot, regardless of circumstances. Video evidence should have an impact here in my opinion. She really should have left a note with contact info if she thought there was no damage.
