I just wanted to give a shout out to the people that helped me this morning..and say what a wonderful city Brandon really is! My car broke down with all my kids in it on the way to school, and before I could really process what had just happened a nice man on a pedal bike who already looked extremely cold stopped and guided traffic around me, flagged down a truck (which I would of NEVER done on my own) who tried to boost me (already the second family he stopped for and it was not even 9 am), but when that wouldn't work, he drove my kids clear across town, to two different schools, although we were more than happy to just walk home. All the while helping me call the police with his phone to let them know the tow truck was coming, and then google the tow truck number AND then brought me all the way back to my home...I mean really, you just can't ask for a better community, and better people than you folks....you really saved me today! I am just a mom with no vehicle knowledge at all and my kids were barely late for school...THANK YOU!! I know this sounds like a crappy day, but it actually turned out great, it really makes you feel good to know what good people are out there in this scary world!!
