So what do people think of this feature in the Sun? I think it is a waste of print. The things people complain about! I wish those were all the worries I had in life.

So how is Sound Off any different than some of the discussions on here? If you don't like it then don't read it.

There are some people who say the same thing about eBrandon, Twitter and the CBC boards, just respectfully saying.

Love the comments they make me laugh

that are important to them. Sound offs make me chuckle. Some make good points, others not so much.

One of the first things I read!

It gives you an idea of what is on people's minds. Some make very good points on current events, while others tend to not make a lot of sense - just like on e-brandon. Everyone has an opinion.

what do people think of people that complain about the people that complain in the sound off in the Brandon Sun?

What's the big deal if people complain, its a free country and people have the right to complain about whatever they want and I`d rather read a complaint than hear one.  
 
The only thing I wish people would do is before they write to the Brandon Sun with there complaint they either get their facts strait or complain here on Ebrandon first so they can get educated, because a lot of people don't have their facts right when they 'sound off' in the Brandon sun. But its always a good laugh.

wondering if sound off was there so the that the few pages you get with the Sun are full. Most days the paper is so thin you could spit through it!

One, what I consider to be, very important difference between ebrandon and sound off is the ability to clarify incorrect facts or logic. With ebrandon people can challenge sources of info and perhaps clarify false assumptions. Sound off on the other hand just lets people spout off and there is little accountability possible. I've personally stopped reading it because I find it way too negative and grumpy. While that happens on here too, there are lots of great discussions that take place, even when there is disagreement.
