Is there such a thing. I'd like to send a gift card threw email to someone in a different province is there such a thing?

I've used Amazon.ca for this and it worked great  

I looked and was unable to see how to buy gift cards online on Amazon

the amazon search bar, near the top of the page. Click on "Gift Cards."  
Than on the left hand side of the screen, check occasion and click on the delivery type you want.

I believe on Amazon you can only buy an Amazon e card. If you are looking for a specific card you will have to visit their site to see if you can purchase an e gift card. Not all gift cards you see in stores can be bought as as an e gift card online. They are a great idea however Found out at Christmas that there not as common as one would like. As well if you do find the right one read the " fine print ", ie in canadian funds, able to use in store or online, ability to purchase from Canada. Wanted to buy a Sephora e gift card at Xmas but couldn't figure out why it wasn't allowing me too. Well you have to live in the states as only available there, even though they have stores all over Canada!
