I have to wonder why a fighter jet was flying around the south end of Brandon today from about 14:00 to 14:30? With a few very low passes as well.

Well I assume they were flying low to spread chem trails over public schools....

Even as a joke, or you'll get all the wing nuts (no pun intended) trying to ban aircraft from the sky.

The portage airshow is back this year. Maybe doing some practice for that?

That's training for CFB Shilo. Happens every year.

The aircraft is a trainer used by our air force. Probably comes from Moose Jaw.

They are a private contractor that are used for various types of training in the Canadian Forces.

And the jets being used are Dornier Alpha Jets.  
 
They are out here quite often. They are likely here doing some training of Forward Air Controllers (FAC'S).

This is kinda getting annoying, every time there's military aircraft in the sky, someone has to comment or inquire about it... Same with the lights in the sky at night over Shilo.... No not aliens!!! Everyone in Brandon and surrounding area knows or should know ( with the exemption of a few new people to the area) that there is an army base almost within sight of Brandon!! Like come on people!! Military aircraft, vehicles, it's called training!! People don't need to post every time they see military stuff around here... Wow this feels good to get off my chest.. Sorry just tired of seeing these posts.

How about when you see the title of the thread, just bypass it. Riderpride won't have to be annoyed by reading the same thing and Trevor won't have to inform people that may not know.

People post in ebrandon instead of googling the information or calling the business/institution/person and asking their questions. What makes you think they're going to consults a FAQ section?

Thanks to the original poster for letting me know or I may have missed it..i'm sure it would have been a funny site as both my dog and I were moving our heads at the same time watching the plane fly over..lol

If it annoys you so much, why not just pass by the annoying posts and quit bellyaching.
