A witness got a description of a Silver Ford extended cab (approx. year 2010) with furniture in the back around 3pm while leaving the scene.  
 
It was headed north on the 200 block of Percy Street and side swiped my vehicle, parked on the westside of Percy facing south. Extensive damage to the entire drivers side of my vehicle.  
 
This suspect vehicle will also have considerable damage, dents, white paint transfer, etc on the drivers side of the Silver Ford Extended Cab.  
 
As there was furniture in the back, it may be someone who is in the process of moving. Keep your eyes open for possible new neighbors.  
 
If anyone has seen a vehicle of this description, which likely will have damage to drivers side, would you be so kind as to forward this info onto the Brandon City Police Dept. 204-725-2345  
 
This is not an accident that the driver was possibly unaware they had caused any damage. This was a deliberate fleeing the scene after crossing over to the opposite side of the road of which they were driving (alcohol or texting my be a factor) and colliding with another vehicle.

that has happened to you. I've been the victim of a hit and run as well. It is infuriating! The correct phone number for BPS non-emergency is 204-729-2345 not 725.

Getting the word out there exposes the suspect vehicle and perhaps someone has noticed something. Here's hoping...
