Also received a message on Facebook too. Wondered what was up.

When i got that i was worried my account had been hacked or someone else was using my info

Yep I also thought perhaps my account had been accessed by someone in another country and immediately changed my password.

On the news facebook issued an apology saying that a bug occurred in its safety check that sent the message to people nowhere near the blast.

Wow, I'm pretty shocked that the point of interest in this event is that people in our community received a Facebook message by mistake rather than the fact that there was.. " a blast in a park that killed at least 52 people, mostly women and children, according to officials. The explosion occurred in the parking area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, a few metres away from children's swings."
