Anybody else see this? Around 830am this morning. 3 or 4 cop cars, uniformed & plain clothes cops had a guy in cuffs outside of that building that's supposed to be opening into a pot store/smoke shop?  

There's nothing in the police services media release today. But maybe their still figuring out charges and investigating, so something will be released on the next few day.

can this place legally sell their pot?

they had gone through the process of becoming a licensed dispensary then yes they could sell to those with a perscription but could not grow. MB only has one authorized licended producer and it is Delta 9 Bio Tech in Winnipeg, and at one point they were also the only ones licensed to sell in MB (though that could easily have changed)

has anyone gone there to check it out

They sell growing supplies and smoking accessories. That is all.

I guess we will see what happens come August when the new health minister releases the new guidelines. I won't be surprised if that becomes a legitimate option for them in the near future.

Would it be bad if it was a future option? I know a few people in Brandon tha have a medical marijuana license ! It won't bring the value of the neighbourhood down at all , does a beer vendor ?

I imagine (I don't live around or utilize one) that half drunk people do go to the beer store and yes some of them are even driving their vehicles. People WANT their beer right?  
 
By the sounds of it the distribution of MM will be going solely to a big chain store, at least that's what I've read in the paper.  
 
Some people think that they will get rich quick off the legalization of MM but who knows?
