Early

I would suggest being there at 4 am at least.
We were flying to Hawaii in February with stop overs at Calgary and Vancouver. We were there shortly after 4 am (because it was an international flight for us technically we wanted to be on the safe side). Due to some mechanical issues and staffing trouble - in addition to supposedly overselling the flight - they were not able to process everyone in time so about a dozen other people were not able to get on the plane. We were all pretty pissed, I will tell you. Most of us had to travel in to Winnipeg to get on flights. I am still dealing with Westjet to get answers as to why they could over sell a flight from Brandon and cut off passengers who were there on time without making other arrangements or give us some compensation for our travels in to Winnipeg - and the 180 bucks it cost us to park there - ouch!
Not sure if they have changed the way they did things or not, but what we overheard (so I may not have heard correctly) was that luggage from the 6 am passengers does not go out at the same time but goes on the later flight. That does not make a lot of sense to me, so maybe someone can elaborate, but we definitely saw some luggage still on the security dock when that plane left that day. Perhaps it had something to do with the connecting flights or something.
I know it is a small place, but I would be safe and be early.
