Anyone know where to find the best price for a propane tank trader in Brandon?

I have been a believer for several years that it is better to refill than exchange. I have done two this year (in Brandon) so far and the refill was around $27 and the exchange was about 25 and I thought both prices were excessive especially the refill which is the main reason I checked out the exchange on the 2nd one. Didn't think it could be much worse.

Tank expiry date?

Guess one thing a person needs to watch for is the tank expiry dates. If you give them a tank which expires in 3 years and get a filled tank that expires in a year, you might be having to buy a new tank, when your original was still good for two more years!

something to watch is some exchange tanks only have 8 kg or 17.6 lbs of product.

You might also want to check how much propane costco puts in your tank.

If the tank is empty it should hold 20 lbs

People who don't have Costco memberships can fill at Canadian Tire in Winnipeg for around $10.

you fill your tank at Costco you get a detailed bill to take inside and you pay by the pound - I believe it was around 45 cent a pound when I filled the last time - and I heard same thing than poster above that Canadian tire in wpg is filling for cheap too .
