Parks for toddlers.

Hey there I have a toddler about 1.5 years old. I was just wondering if there are any parks around town with play structures geared towards littler kids. I found the one at George fitton to be alright. But is there any others?

park hop! go for a walk and visit lots to see which ones you guys like best. there are actually quite a few around the city. not all in the greatest shape, but kids have fun. I like the park in Queen Elizabeth? park down off 26th street and McDonald Ave because of the river + walking trails. Theres a newer park in the south end sort of behind Sobeys area too thats neat!
Dinsdale park is a decent one as well and JR Reid has a good playground

We love the Green Acres (I think that's what it is called: it is east of 1st on Queens I believe). I'm not sure that it's geared towards toddlers though: but there's a few things that littler kids would enjoy.

Important thing at that age was finding playgrounds that limit the amount of high openings and chance for bad falls. Find the old wooden one behind Durum is good from that perspective... And the hill's fun for a run! Inevitable you'll wander over to the new playground a little further down the field. Lots of quality lower stuff there (our guy loves the mini excavator) but there are a few high points to watch out for.
Also had decent luck at the one next to the dog park off of Park Ave.
You'll see quite a few younger kids at the smaller playground off Magnolia... Think they call it Jacobson Park?

No prob. No playground's perfect and most have age limits (recommendations?) posted that are quite a bit higher but we found these ones had the nerves a little lower when our kiddo was closer to that age last year

Green acres school park and the one off Durham are too big for that young IMO. However, the one near Garwood in Green Acres isn't too bad. Dinsdale and Rideau have areas that should work for that age. The one behind the splash park on 1st also has a lower area.

Rideau park! Small slide, mini "rock climbing" ladder, and some other fun things. The awesome mega swings and the water park makes this our go to park for our toddlers.

That we love for our little one is Meadows School! The playground is accessible for students in wheelchairs and such so there are good options for little ones too (scoop swing, ramps, etc.)

There's one near Riverheights and Parkside place in the West end that is good for toddlers.

The one by Rosser and Fotheringham isn't bad either.
