are there any road highway constructions from Brandon to Niverville? If so how long distance and waiting time to drive through

if there is any construction in the eastbound lanes, but recent visitors (last week) said there is construction in westbound lanes from this side of Portage to near Austin.

About to Winnipeg but apparently there was a very long stretch that starts (I think) just past Portage coming this way.  
 
Hubby drove it last week and it nearly put him to sleep driving for so long at 70 km. (He had been up since 3:30 am that morning...)

There is just a tiny tiny section near Elie. But that is all. I drive that stretch often.

There was a few weeks ago when I went. Maybe add 5-10 minutes to your usual estimate.

Last Friday Westbound from Elie to Oakville Jct. down to one lane.

Yes, westbound from Elie almost to Portage, it's down to one lane and looks like they're going to have two way traffic in the eastbound lanes, much like they had in the westbound last summer.  
 
Then there is also a 30km stretch just west of Portage that's down to one lane. In both stretches the speed limit was posted at 90km/h, but when I went through there were no workers, so it could be lower during working hours.
