I've been told that the city plans on digging up the entire Street on Westwood bay in order to run new water mains. I drove by today and noticed the street is marked with posts and spray paint.  
 
Does anyone know when they're planning on doing this work, and if they plan to block off the entire bay all at once? Also how long this type of work typically takes.

Do you live on the street or know someone who does? From experience having been in a similar situation, the city usually sends letters to effected the residents on the street with all the info on the project and numbers of people to contact from the city and the contractors doing the work for more info on the project weeks before they start.
