Does anyone on Rosser west end, past Forthingham, notice cars and motercycles often speeding, racing down the road? It is hard enough getting out of a driveway on this road but scary for kids out and about.

We have the same problem on Rosser Ave East. We even have a stop sign on the corner of Rosser Ave East and Douglas. Very few stop! A few tap their breaks but most speed right on, like it is a straight a way! I know some cruise at 70 to 90 down this street.

you can tell the speed by watching them or you are one of the people driving the speed to know how fast they are going lol

I'm pretty sure that's why Sharon gave an estimate of speed, have a nice day. Nice contribution to the thread though! There always has to be one person who trolls threads just to make unwanted, idiotic comments.  
And yes, I have noticed people doing a lot of speeding in residential neighborhoods. If you can, get their license plate and report it.

I live near Richmond by the mall, and I sleep with my window open all summer. I constantly hear cars/trucks/motorcycles gunning down the road at excessive speeds.

Pacific between 26th and 34th is horrible for cars racing, going too fast to even tell what kind of car it is and motorcycles as well. It's scary when it runs alongside the bike path and there are always kids and families crossing the street!

The speeders like Queens Ave west as well. From Joe Beavers to the stop sign on 22nd. Sometimes like a race track. Too fast to get a plate number.

Isn't it required by law that everyone drive at least 10 km/h above every posted speed limit at all times?  
 
Driving anywhere in Brandon it appears that an awful lot of drivers seem to think so. Just try doing the unthinkable sometime and actually driving within the speed limit and see what happens to you. You'll get horns blasted at you, high beams in your rear view mirror and idiots in 4x4 trucks who back off and then floor it, pretending that they're going to ram you, all because you are not speeding. For those who may not know, it is actually legal to drive within the speed limit. One other thing that you will learn if you try driving within the speed limit is that a surprisingly large number of drivers sure are proud of their middle finger, LOL.

I am no saint when I drive.But man whats up with the bus drivers? Yesterday on 1st headed south, this bus driver was doing atleast 70km/h while I was doing 55km/h.

may not know the exact speed a vehicle might be going, but you can tell when a vehicle is going far faster than the speed limit on that street. Especially when you live on that street.

I used to live at 3702 Rosser Avenue for years. I was very tired of the speeders that drove by without stopping at the stop sign. I witnessed this on a daily basis while I was trying to use the crosswalk with my 2 children to get across the street to the playground. The police should be notified so they can setup and catch the people speeding and not stopping at the stop sign before someone gets hurt.
