Thanks for thinking of the site. While not every suggestion can be practical within the big picture of the site, what you see and use is in large part the sum of folks' suggestions that have helped it evolved from the little site that was started a decade ago.
This has been mentioned a few times, but main thinking is that while it might work for some social media environments it would be counterproductive in this forum environment and encourage passive participation in stead of active posting that evolves a discussion. If you agree with someone please do tell them so (and even why you agree) with a reply to their post within the discussion taking place
