    seen lots of ads for folks looking to meet people,so thought id throw this out. in the last year, ive put on a hundred plus pounds due to health, wouldn't really enjoy going to a regular gym, surely I cant be the only 40 plus person who a hundred plus pounds, and would like to join a walking group, or is there one that I haven't heard of? not to date, just meet new folks and get better health

    fantastic response, If anyone has some walking path or ideas, I'm going to throw out some dates tmro, and ill be there and hopefully anyone of shape, age, gender etc will hopefully show up. thanks

    also be interested! Great way of meeting people aside from the traditional pub atmosphere! And thank you for adding in that all shapes, age etc are i:ncluded, that was going to be my next question!

    I cant imagine any reason why not, I'm going to throw out some dates tmro, and for all I know, I be walking by myself,lol, but I'm fun, and hope others feel free to come check it out, I think usually if a few show up, some more active, some less, but all being strangers, such fun,

    Want to get in on this! I've lived in Brandon for 2 years and have had a hard time meeting people and making friends. I look forward to whichever dates are picked! :D

    The sportslex track is an great idea starting point for starting this new adventure, there's a hill right there also that is good for training on also, during the school year I've seen track coaches use the hill for their endurance and strength training, lots of parking right near the track

    I'm in my 40's and can relate to weight gain. I might join this group if the dates and times work with my schedule. What a great idea. Having a group helps with motivation

    I am not sure of the date but the track is going to be closed off sometime during the summer for repairs. You may need to use one of the  
    tracks at the high schools

    It went well and was very fun. There were only a few of us, but I am sure with the interest, others will start coming as schedules work and such! Great way to meet new people
