Purchasing farm produce

Wondering which colonies or farmers, local, that sell there excess garden/farm produce etc.

Esp. looking for cucumbers, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, herbs, berries, etc.

Does one of the colonies still do a big sale of baked goods and homemade items etc as well?

Thanks much for any help with this!

Check out all the farmers markets in town.

farmers market at Deleau tonight

If all goes as planned there will be at least one colony at the market tonight, possibly two and other families with produce and other items. Market goes from 6-8 pm. Deleau is 17 miles west of Souris just off #2. (Two miles west of Hartney junction).

Thanks Doreen, I will try to check that out.

Sorry Fishinguy, I should add, in large quantities if available - to be able to do a decent amount of canning. I found most ones in town don't have as much as I would want.

The Brookdale colony is going string I believe as well as the decker colony.
