Is there any support groups in Brandon (besides al-anon) for spouses/families of alcoholics? I'm currently seperated from my husband, and seeing a counsellor. I do have friends and family that have been an amazing support network, but would like to perhaps meet with others that are going through/have gone through what I'm experiencing. I have tried al-anon but it wasn't for me (maybe I'm too bitter lol)

Afm has a great families program and a codependency program as well.

Best place to start for some sort of referral.  
 
Get in the right group and a lot of life's troubles will just melt away.

Does anyone know of any separation/divorce groups that meet? I know there used to be one at St Augustine Church on Tuesday nights, not sure if it is still going though.  
I never had a spouse who drank but I came from parents who had problems with drinking. It's not easy. Good Luck!
