Cab companies and long distances

Does anybody know if any cab companies will transport people a long travel time?. I know someone needing to go to estevan this weekend but doesnt have a ride.. a bus takes to long and they have a dog to take with them... so just wondering how that works

Im sure one of them would but it would cost you a lot, probably have to pay up front too since its a long way and they would lose other fairs, one time we needed a ride an hr and a half ( car broke down on the way to the airport) and the hotel arranged a limo service for us, turned out at least 1/3 cheaper then the cab ..just a thought, could also post a wanted add, maybe you could find someone willing to do it for cash

If possible it would be cheaper, some of the smaller cars are inexpensive. Could be free if you collect airmails or some other travel miles.

Well like others have said it will cost a small fortune. I think the rate to Winnipeg in a cab is $250-300. If money is no option I guess a cab could be one way to do it. Assuming this person has a driver's license a rental car or even a U-Haul would be an option but then now we have a dog so not sure on their policies on that either.

cab rates

They are set by the province.
The current rate is $2.10 per km.
So estevan is 300km away
Cab fare would be $600
Winnipeg airport is $420
Of course you can negotiate a different price, depending on the driver.
Taken people to Winnipeg in a cab many times for $300.
