My utility trailer and snowmobile were stolen last night from my driveway,  
In the greenacres area. I don't care about the sled as it was getting repairs done, however the trailer is an old tent trailer, my father and I rebuilt, into a utility trailer. Brandon police have been notified aswel as the RCMP. Any help in locating these o:bjects would be greatly appreciated westman!  
 
The sled is a 02 Mxz 800 black and yellow, ( no engine, in it)  
The trailer is a black frame with 4 removable wood sides with a black tool box on the tongue.  
 
I have lost faith in westman residents as this seems to be an ongoing issue, with rising thefts.

You left what to the non-law abiding people what looks like an easy $3,000.00 dollar score and are suprised some one stole it? No offense dude but their are idiots out there that would steal the white off of rice if they could make a penny at it

If he left it sitting out or not, people need to keep their hands off of other people's stuff. Whether the victim left his car door unlocked, or in this case, the sled and the trailer out, doesn't mean he put a sign on it saying come take it, and people need to quit blaming the victim, these people are ruthless and will take it, locked up or not. So maddening when this happens.

hope you get your trailer back, besides chaining it im not sure what you are supposed to do if you dont have a garage, after all every one knows it not theirs and in your drive way yet...disgusting

I find theft so violating. It shouldn't matter if the keys are in something and it's running, it still doesn't mean you can steal it. With any luck the brain dead pieces of crap will have a heart attack pulling and pulling on it before they realize there is no motor in it! Hope you get it back.

To make a long story short, it went where most sleds in Manitoba go when stolen, RCMP said it was the Dops jurisdiction and the Dops wouldn't do anything about it. They looked where most of the sleds go to get parted out, found 3 and a quad but said none of them were mine? Go figure!

...I'm sure they would have done something about it. RCMP have jurisdiction EVERYWHERE in Canada. It sucks when idiots feel they have the right to take someone else's hard earned property. I've been the victim more than once.

Just wondering if you asked around to see if any neighbors have security cameras that might show something.

If RCMP have jurisdiction EVERYWHERE in Canada then I found a reservation where they don't. I was told not their problem, the Dops handle issues on the reserve and that was the end of it. Glad to see on the news that they caught 4 guys in the latest snowmobile, quad and gun thefts in Manitoba.
