Been without hydro since 7pm last night  
This is craziness

Has it been reported? I'm sure they have their hands full at the moment.

Where do you live? Rural? Hopefully they can restore power to you asap

Just checked highways and they are still closed so how are the workers supposed to get to work and if they did get to work how are they going to get to the place that needs to be fixed. Also with this wind they are not going to climb poles or put someone up in a bucket to fix things.  
 
Hydro workers lives matter too.  
 
We forget how reliable our service is until it goes out and when it does go out it is usually bad weather related.

That's why I invested in a generator, nothing big, but enough to run the essentials.

I heard on the radio they wouldn't be responding to power outage calls unless it was a 911 emergency. I can't see any way they could respond in my area as I can't get down the road with a 150 hp front wheel assist loader tractor so I am not blaming hydro. Just praying the power stays on here and for anyone without power that they have some backup heat until it gets restored hopefully very soon.  
 
Hope everyone is warm and safe at the very least, hope everybody's livestock is making it through ok as well, it is ugly out there so gotta quit typing and go check the cows.
