Just a heads up that scammers are at it again. This time with a "Netflix" email. The email asks that you log into your "Netflix" account and update your billing info as they are unable to bill you with the information on file. I received an email today that looks authentic and when you click on the link it looks very authentic and pretty much an identical screen as the real "Netflix" log in page. What gives it away is that the site is "Not Secure" and the address starts with "zslm". If you would log in with your actual password then they would have your password linked to your email and as most people use the same password for convenience they could phish other user accounts that have your email as a "user name" and they could try the password to get into those accounts and raise havoc with your finances. Anyway just another heads up as scammers are never idle and always looking at another trap to soak honest people.

Don't even click on the link! The spammer may have a malicious file/program set to download as part of reaching the fake site.

On the computer, if you hover the mouse over the link (without clicking) your computer should display what the link destination is (in an email opened through Outlook, it will probably be displayed fairly close to the mouse, in a web browser it will probably be in the lower left corner). This will show you whether the link is misspelled and therefore likely fraudulent.

If you did click on the link, I would encourage you to run anti-malware software right away! There could easily have been malware download and be collecting information/spying on you now.

I got an email this morning from "Apple" saying if I didn't log in to cancel my Netflix subs:cription I'd be charged. Looked up the senders email address and it certainly was not Apple. Forwarded it to their phishing department. Looked so legit!

I always check to see the senders email address.
And then delete them.
