I bought one from them in 2008, their service was poor but may have improved ??? That was under the old management though gd luck and I would check out the water quality where you are looking

The park is getting it's own water treatment plant and off-leash dog park and the quality of the mobiles we looked at was better than I had expected - I was pleasantly surprised. You get what you pay for I guess.

Hello, my partner and i have already lived out here in meadowbrook village for quite some time already.  
We owned a mobile out here for years before the Sawatzky group took over the trailer park. Sawatzky group is the parent company that owns best buy homes and meadowbrook village.  
I can admit, when the group took over, our family and probably a lot of others were probably a little bit scared and apprehensive as to what would become of our community, so far not much has really changed out here except for the addition of a few new trailers. They do have a bunch of new rules, but your going to have that at any location you go to. Most of them are pretty basic and common sense rules anyways.  
This community has always been a pretty close and friendly. generally there is nothing to complain about except for lack of decent services like internet and tv. Just one month ago now me and my wife decided to purchase a new modular within the park. We dealt with Melanie White who is the sales rep for the park. I'd have to say we had a great experience throughout the whole process of purchasing our new home. Melanie was more than willing to field multiple phone calls, visits to the office and lots of text messages as well. As far as Melanie goes, she is a fantastic person, and was absolutely wonderful to deal with. The home we purchased is a brand new 4 bedroom modular. It is really spacious and really well built. It came with all appliances minus a washer and dryer. All appliances in ours are whirlpool. We ended up selling our old home and moving to this one, which was already setup on the lot ready to go. As far as i understand these homes are completely customizable and you can pick or choose what features/appliances you would like, if you are ordering one and having it moved on to a new lot. They also offer fencing, decking and garage packages as well. There is probably more that i am missing. With our home also it came with 10 years warranty. Overall i am extremely impressed and satisfied with our new modular, as are the kids and wife. My suggestion to you would be to maybe see if you can get into the old side of the park if you are looking to buy. most of the lots in the old side are probably going to be a lot bigger than what is going to be on the new development. But the new development sounds like it is going to be nice as well.

as mentioned just before me, they are upgrading the water system, they have a what they call a designated green space which is pretty big. Heard there is talks of adding a playground or community type centre out here for kids. Possibly a small type store coming out here as well hopefully. Over all this is a fantastic place to live and raise your children if you have. Melanie is a fantastic person to deal with as i said before and i would recommend buying a modular from best buy. Yes. We've met with and talked to Melanie several times and she has been nothing but helpful and very educated about the whole new development - answered every little question we had. We've looked at several new trailers and found one we really like but will have to modify it a bit. The new home we saw actually on a lot was finished beautifully, just a couple of cracked tiles from the move, and those are in the process of being replaced. I went in to this whole thing with great trepidation. I hadn't heard a lot of good things about Best Buy, but I was pleasantly surprised.

We bought a trailer from Best Buy at Headingley prior to them locating to Brandon. The trailer was gorgeous that we chose. Delivery was on time but when delivered the drywalked ceiling cracked from the kitchen to the living room and it had a stucco looking exterior that had many faults. After complaining numerous times to a Don Sawatsky aboaolutely nothing was done. After contacting our lawyer and the lawyer contacting Best Buy in. Headingley someone came out and repaired the ceiling, not very good at all, could still see the crack and the location of repairs. Nothing could be done with the exterior. The ceiling was never repaired to what it looked like when we purchased it.  
Now this is many years ago, I'm hoping their warranty and customer service has improved since then. We would not purchase from them again.
