You can sign up for a doctor on line. Www.manitoba.ca/familydoctorfinder at least you will quickly find a doctor

Dr Turner and Dr Lee Chen are amazing and I heard there is a new dr replacing Dr Moller. I love that clinic!

I wish Dr. Moller would refer me to a new doctor before she leaves but her nurses won't let me make an appointment or even leave a message for her. Frustrating

Butler, Turner, Lee ... Pretty much most doctors are not accepting patients. I asked for Butler but they said no. Any opinions on Western Medical doctors?

Dr Tegg at western medical is fantastic and he's a fairly new Doctor. I do believe there are two more new doctors there taking patients as well. Highly recommend doctors from that clinic.

Dr Moeller is leaving?

She works at the Brandon Clinic (Station 2) and is leaving next Friday.

Going? How come doctors leave but don't tell there patients or refer them to someone else? Frustrated over this!!

She got a job at the hospital as a hospitalist. All her patients got mailed a letter perhaps the mailing address is incorrect or something.There are 2 new physicians coming to brandon clinic. If you call they will tell you this and put you on a list for the new doctors. I also will miss Dr. Moller. Wishing her all the best in her new position.

There will be 2 new GPs starting at the Brandon Clinic - Dr Akerele in May and Dr Nichol in August. Both come highly recommended.  
 
Whilst waiting for a new doctor, one can always go to the walk ins. The advantage of going to one of the walk ins of the same clinic is that the information is easily accessable and helps with continuity of care.  
 
Times at the clinisc are:  
Main clinic:  
Monday - Fridays 9am -5pm.  
BU Healthy living centre:  
Friday mornings 9am - 1pm.  
Brandon Clinic West on Victoria opposite Gaint Tiger/McDonald's:  
Monday - Friday it is open 9am - 8pm: Saturday 10am - 4pm and Sunday 10am - 2pm.

They sent a letter to all her patients a few weeks ago. If you did not get one, reason is incorrect mailing address? She accepted a job at the brandon regional hospital as hospitalist in palliative care.

Does anyone have any information on Dr. Akerele and Dr. Nichol? Education and all. Are they good? They are replacements for Dr. Moller …… I am frustrated too

The physician's there are incredible, and transferring care is easy and painless. I left Brandon Clinic for a fresh perspective and I am extremely impressed by the physicians there. My doctor is incredible Dr. Stevenson...she's hard to beat!

She's a great dr: but even with an appointment you wait for hours due to double/triple booking.

Dr. Theo Fourie is another highly recommended GP. Takes the time to answer your questions and is in his office already when you see him. Grest bedside manners too.

He is so nice. Very thorough.

I am also wondering about the new doctors too ... that are replacing Dr. Moller? Who are they and where are they coming from? I’ve called the office twice and they are refusing to make an appointment for me to see her or even leave a message. I really needed a referral as I just can’t see any doctor that probably will not understand my medical conditions. So good luck to me and to everyone else that are looking for a new family doctor. Ugh

PENTAblue - Most doctors don't take phone messages from patients. And if Dr Moller is leaving next week, she is probably booked full until then. Have you put your name on the list for one of the new doctors at that clinic?

not just palliative care.

She was my doctor for 7 years. I was able to leave a message many times in the past for various reasons but now they are refusing to do anything. I got the letter 4 weeks ago, called the same day and the answer is no. I guess they are doing this to all of her patients anyway. Yes, my name is on the new doctor’s referral list. Just upsetting is all!

Still having a hard time finding a doctor. I tried to use the family doctor finder website 5 times but it will not work for me. Error message everytime. Does anyone have any information about the new doctors? Akerele and Nichol

I would recommend Dr. Darrin Nichol. If I didn't already have a good doctor I would definitely go to him!

Iam not sure of the other physician, but I can say Darrin Nichol is extremely intelligent and extremely thorough....a great guy to talk to, laid back, open minded, just fantastic. Don''t miss out on that one if you can get him as a doc.

How were you able to see him if he doesn't start until May? Just did some research ... Did he just finish U of M recently, in his 20s and replacing Dr. Moller?
