I recently moved to Brandon and am looking for an adult community band of some kind. I recently picked up my clarinet again after a few years' absence, so I'm not symphony orchestra quality by any means, but I played for 15 years before that and would love to be able to play again with others. Suggestions?

The BCO used to practice at the School of Music on Saturdays. I imagine they still do, but I haven't paid attention since I graduated. You can hit them up and see about joining - it's all amateur, everyone-who-wants-to music.

Hi. I play with the Brandon Community Band. The band is made up of students and Community members, some of adults are band teachers who are playing secondary instruments, a couple people have music degrees. We are a close, fun bunch who enjoy making music. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm at Crocus Plains High school.
