Got a new I phone today but it won't let me access my Yahoo mail account. We tried for half an hour at the Rogers store and got nowhere . I put the wrong password in the first time so that is my fault completely . There is no way of talking to them on the phone live because I tried that for 20 minutes and was cut off 3 times. Tried following all their prompts and it just went in circles . So now I have no e- mail. Have tried every thing they asked me to do several times over at their help site but to no avail. Maybe time to get a different mail account but what a pain that would be. Any ideas?

Through the email tab, where all of your emails can sync through? If so, try removing the Yahoo account on that app, and then use Google to go to Yahoo and log in from there. I have trouble syncing my yahoo from time to time, and have to remove and reinstall it separately to get it to work.

Yes I tried that method too all it does is ask me to prove I'm not a robot over and over again even after I enter my password.

Well I just went on line with what I thought was a yahoo tech but in the end they tell me that I need to pay $130 to fix a spam virus problem. After a few expletives from me I hung up. Don't know what to do now.

Well tried everything again today with Yahoo but in the end it says it can't recover my account on line. If you try to call them you get scammers from India . Strange thing though for some reason I'm getting mail on my old I phone with no SIM card . Can't make any headway on my new I phone or my desktop. Doesn't recognize my password so I can't log on to change it or reset it. Says it will send me an account key but that never happened either. I don't give up easily but looks like I might be beat this time. My account is probably hacked but somehow I should at least be able to reset or and put a new password But no way!

My new phone is just that. Brand new from the Rogers store. As I said before the Rogers agent in the store tried for half an hour with me and got nowhere . I have diwnloaded the Yahoo mail app again and also tried it through a web browser. Last night I finally got through to a tech support on the telephone only to find out too late that it was a scammer from India . I have not tried clearing cookies I'm not that computer savy but I have tried everything else.
