There is a fabulous new yarn shop on Rosser Ave (across from the library)!!! The selection was amazing, the colors were varied and the prices were very reasonable. It's not a very big store but it's impressive. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. I wish her well and will be returning soon. Has anybody else been there?

Tried to go tonite at around 7. The sign said open, hours on door said open 12 to 8, but it was closed.

I'm not a knitter, but have been to the store. It's a modern, simple store, with it's focus on the variety of imported yarn. The owner also takes orders and has knit baby booties, nice winter hats with fur pom-poms, and is currently knitting a cardigan for me. Her projects are finished meticulously and the quality of yarn used is top notch. My teenage girls are excited to take some of her evening classes and make some socks and mittens. The classes are free, so a great thing to try! I believe this is a whole new venture for her, and she has smaller children, so I'm sure it's all a balancing act right now. I do know that she has a Facebook page, and posts on it daily, so that might be a good way to keep updated on what's happening at the store! All the best to her!

True, but the owner does have a sign on the door explaining the reduced hours are for a medical emergency. And the open sign is flipped to closed.

The store is very nice, and the selection is lovely. There isn't much there for a crafter who is making things for someone with a wool allergy. I do like the variety of colours in baby-weight yarn that are not pastels!  
I do wonder if Brandon is big enough to support two yarn boutiques, and it is unfortunate Knit2Scrap2 has had to change their hours because of a medical emergency.
