Can anyone tell me where the yellow poles are so my son can practise his parallel parking? We have been to several places and cannot find them.

The parking poles that used to stay up throughout the day are not available anymore. The drivers ed instructors have their own in the trunks of their cars that they use. There are ones up at the MPIC building during the day that are used for testing, but you will be chased away if you try to use them. Everyone I know just make there own out of weighted milk jugs, pylons, wood, pipe, etc.

If they are out during the day for other people to use, they are usually set up in the far East parking lot by MPI on 1st. It's just to the east of where you enter when you need to drive a vehicle into their building for claims.

if you see them set up anywhere besides the testing center they are a drivers instructors poles (whether they care if you use them IDK, i would think they would be in use or put away) a place to practice is not something MPI provides  
 
to practice parallel parking you will have to find something to use, maybe your own cars set up pillions ect or what i found is the cheapest closest option is dollar store pillions and driveway markers, for under $10 you can have 4 poles but anything you can see will work milk jugs and sticks for free, anything really
