North Hill ACC students

May I suggest that some of you wake up or leave your house five or ten minutes earlier in the morning to make it to class on time without rushing? I commute north on 1st street every day, and between 8-8:30am it feels like I'm driving in a NASCAR race...involuntarily. The amount of irresponsible speeding drivers racing up to ACC each morning is ridiculous. This morning, there were four vehicles speeding, weaving through other vehicles, passing vehicles using the shoulder while trying to race up First. Of course, everyone going the speed limit caught up to them when they hit a red light at the intersection of 1st and Veteran's Way, so their reckless driving was completely useless. And this was all just in the brief moment I was on First..I can imagine there were several more I didn't encounter. The four vehicles I saw ALL turned onto Lori Road heading to ACC. And sure enough, it was just a couple minutes before 8:30 and they were likely running late for their first class. Students - you're adults studying to be responsible, contributing members of society, so act like it. Set your alarm a couple minutes earlier, or leave your house earlier so the rest of us who are commuting to work SAFELY and responsibly aren't hurt by your foolishness and carelessness. I sincerely hope nobody is hurt in the future. I don't mean to generalize all North Hill ACC students, by the way. I'm not claiming this is a problem for all of you.
