Someone will surely come along who wants a certain few albums. They will cherry pick the few that have some marketability, and value, and leave you with an even less attractive pile of albums. When I say pile think about this as well. 1400 albums works out to about 750lbs. That "record sale guy" now gets to haul them back and forth to sales etc, along with cataloguing, checking condition. Only to sell a few here and there. I think you should be glad if anyone offers you anything at all. Not just have the attitude that they are all greedy. " |

LOL I didn't ever state that they are valuable at all. I think .16 a record makes that clear, as does the fact that I was willing to donate them for FREE to an old folks home..
I did have them listed on Ebrandon, and sold about 100, however they have been in my basement for over a year now, and I wanted them all gone in one shot.
If "that record sale guy" chooses to do that for a living, am I supposed to feel sorry for him, or compensate him for doing what he has chosen to do? I'm sure a mailman doesn't complain that he has to walk when he is at work.
I in no way said that they were all greedy, just this one definitely was.
I am happy to say that I have successfully sold all of them for $80 to a wonderful couple that holds family barn dances. I am very happy that they will be enjoyed for many years to come, and be put to good use.
