Having friends come out for the weekend from Ontario. They've never been here and will only be here Saturday and Sunday.

Looking for ideas to show them a little of what Westman has to offer!

RCAF Memorial

If they have any interest at all in military history take them to the RCAF Memorial at the airport. If times allows you could do the museum too but the memorial itself is outside and doesn't take long to see.

There are lots of nice shorter hiking trails, but a hike into the Spirit Sands is unique to the area. Print and take a map with you as usually no cell service and often out of trail maps when you go

I have been in a small part of Ontario and not much to show your visitors what westman has that is in better than Ontario
