Flutterby said "But hopefully not driving in that way repeatedly? There was no indication that it was law enforcement. I don't think they can do this (go through an intersection on red) without a light, and there was obviously no reason to get somewhere in a hurry or emptier side roads would have been taken to get to the destination. I think in this case, if it was law enforcement, he would be breaking the law. They aren't above it and can be charged too. If nothing else, it sets an extremely poor example.
JoBeth...That will be the guy. Good you got his plate number, but what will you do with it? "
What if it was the cops? What if it was an undercover drug cop that was tailing a known drug dealer, maybe a meth dealer? Knowing full well that meth is destroying lives, breaking apart neighborhoods, and wreaking havoc on this city. Would you think the cop is breaking the law and should be charged.
What if it was a traffic cop in an undercover vehicle who just saw someone using a cell phone and was following this vehicle until a marked police car can stop it. Knowing full well that a person using a cell phone while driving may hurt or kill someone, maybe someone close to you. Do you think this cops is not above the law and should be charged?
