I'm new to Brandon transit and I'm wondering if the buses are always late. It's now been 8 minutes and unless it came more than 6 minutes early, it's late. Is this going to be a regular thing?

is ever on time in Brandon. Even winter is late.

They're honestly all over the map. Between Brandon drivers and the busses being over worked their either early or late.  
 
They don't have enough busses/routes so there is literally two busses that circle the entire city.

For some reason it posted and I wasn't finished. There are two circular bus routes that go around the whole city, and then a few routes that do other parts. They need more routes and busses, but it's not a priority. They can barely keep the busses they do have on the road.

was going to look at and overhaul the transit system? I think it needs to be changed big time. Whenever I see those two buses running the same route from the mall downtown up 18th. street and along Richmond one after the other I just shake my head! Surely to gawd with all the managers the city has they could change the routes to provide better service? They shouldn't have to hire another consultant should they?

Ridership is low due to the erratic arrivals around the city.About 10 years ago,I complained about buses being 7 minutes early,but obviously nothing has changed.  
Drivers seem to be in a race to get back downtown first.In other cities,buses stop when they are ahead of schedule.  
About 20 years ? ago,2 buses collided at 13th & Victoria while trying to beat the lights & knocked a house off the foundation.

I never take the bus. Well, this morning I needed to use the bus (my car was downtown and I was at home). I checked the routes and schedule online and got to the bus stop shortly before the expected arrival time. The bus showed up on time and took me downtown to my stop at the correct time.  
 
Maybe don't go by my one experience, but the system seems to be working pretty well as far as I'm concerned.

I used their online comment section to let them know that I wasn't impressed and the whole story, as I posted a minimal story here. They said the bus broke down and they had to send a 2nd bus. That's why it took so long. Thanks for all the heads up though. I appreciate the positive and not to positive opinions. I grew up in Winnipeg and I agree. The Transit system here needs a complete overhaul.

The two Corral Centre busses are late quite a bit but usually at most 5-10 minutes. Usually if they are really wait, the bus driver will ask if anyone needs to catch another bus. Having a bus waiting an extra 5-10 minutes at the depot also makes things later for some people.  
 
I've had at least one experience every winter where the corral centre bus absolutely doesn't even show up, only showing up as the other route half an hour later

one was racing through a yellow and the other was jumping the gun.  
I still have pictures of that somewhere.
