Souris Park for picnic?

What is the current condition of the Souris park? We are looking for someplace close to Brandon to take seniors out for a picnic. Any other suggestions would be appreciated, too. Thank you.

The bowl and picnic areas close are nice, it's also shaded if you wanted that. The bird sanctuary is right there. Also the tea house is just up Main Street.
