There was a time in my youth when Bowie was a staple in my life. Mick Ronson on guitar was my six string spiritual awakening. Very powerful song writer, performer and a man of his own path. He was one of a kind and will be missed.

Young to have been in to the hay day of Bowie, and the whole Ziggy Stardust experience.  
 
One of may favorite songs ever is his version of Little Drummer Boy with Bing Crosby. He was also involved in my second fave Chistmas song - the original Bandaid "Do the know it's Christmas". (No, he is not in the normal version, he is in the extended one)  
 
He was an amazing actor (always wished he did a bit more of that) and he was a humanitarian. May he RIP.

with Bowie. He was at every party I was at in the 70's and 80's. First on 8 track then cassette. Bowie's career was like a greatest hits album, deep, dark, and alive. RIP David.
