I think most folks respect that our climate is anything but conducive to maintaining consistent, quality roads. Every once in a while, be it from natural causes or infrastructure repair work, a hole rises above (sinks below?) all others to become the stuff Manitoba winter legends are made of.
Thats been the case on 13th street in Brandon just south of Victoria Ave over the last few days where drivers were met with a steep drop, said to be the result of repair work that had to be done recently. It caught the attention of a number of posters who have had their say in one of the more active discussion threads of the past week.
Some further filling has since been done, but as it stands its still worthy of its own “Surface Breaks” sign as seen today. If history is any guide this will be a spot to watch out for until the weather turns in a way that allows for a more thorough fix.
Have your say in the linked discussion thread.
