Tim Hortons’ popular Roll Up The Rim contest needs little introduction.
This year, up for grabs as the main grand prize were 40 Jeep Compasses including just eight in the prairies and territories. Our local Tim Hortons has shared the exciting news this morning that one of those vehicles has been won locally:

A vehicle was last won locally in the contest in 2015. Presumably this year there were a few more rims rolled up than in a typical year as part of the company's sponsorship of the Brier last month. Other prizes awarded over the term of the contest included one hundred $5000 gift cards, 1000 bicycles, thousands of $50 gift cards in addition to coffee and food prizes.
Earlier this year a Minto resident made headlines in winning a car on TV game show The Price is Right.
