I’ll make fair use of conceptual renderings on this section of the site, but up until now nothing quite like this! With the Manitoba Summer Fair just two weeks away, the folks with the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba today teased a fun little addition that’ll be making a first time appearance.
As part of the popular Barn Bar will be Human Foosball, a life-sized take on the popular game using a soft soccer ball and a “table” that the crew with Rona helped design and provide the materials for.
No registration will be required, folks can just drop in and play as part of 4 on 4 competition. It will be open to all ages up until 8pm, at which time only those at age 18 or over will have access as part of its placement with the Barn Bar.
The idea originally came about when one of the Fair’s directors saw a similar concept making the rounds on social media, an idea then taken and built out from there in conjunction with Rona.
The fair, which will feature a midway 39 rides strong, gets underway on Wednesday, June 5 and runs through to Sunday the 9th. Single day admission ranges from free for kids up to age 5 to $10 for kids 6-12, then $14 for age 13 and older. A free child’s ticket (up to age 12) is currently available for download on the Provincial Ex tickets page with discounted advance admission for everyone else available at the same link.
